We all know that Israel is the most militarized country in the world and Singapore the second most militarized country in the world and United State the country with the biggest military in the World. The military everyone 

think its a big part of life cos every country needs one, until I see a country that has no Military. This is a story of the small island nation of ‘GRENADA’ it is one if very few country in the world that decided to let go of their Army. You think this country must be unsafe because of that, but it’s not! Even if it has no Army Grenada turns out to be one of the safest countries, it has very low crime even their citizens forget to lock their door. And in fact, the police walk around with no Guns, and all the Army money they invested in the country. Instead of Army bases, they have beaches. The main source of money is tourism so they develop really beautiful beaches and really beautiful Nature.

This development is what they spend money on instead of aircraft carriers, they have yachts and cruise ships. Tourists flock to the island to get a bit of beach and a bit of sun. And instead of grenades the country of Grenada has Cocoa, the country invested in its chocolate production so now, they produce really good chocolate, and export all over the world.

And last but not the least, “Education” this tiny island is home to one of the best universities for medicine with thousands of students flying to the country to study and become doctors. ***prbxselfnetwork***..

A resident of Karmo in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Friday, narrated to media how security agents, including members of neighbourhood watch, encourage inter-state journeys despite directives against opening of state borders in efforts to curb the spread of Covid-19.

The middle-aged man, who identified himself as Clement, from Obollo-Afor, successfully travelled from Abuja to Ogrute, Igboeze North Local Government Area of Enugu State, Thursday. He said despite the “noise” about border closures, motorists still do their businesses fully aided by those mandated to checkmate such travels. During the reporter’s encounter with Clement at New Market, Enugu, he explained :“The difference is that the vehicles that now flourish in the business are not marked buses, like Peace Mass and Ifesinachi. They are unregistered ones. I returned Thursday. It was a morning travel, so I don’t know how others travel at night. I boarded a bus en route to Enugu from Zuba. The bus was fully loaded, and there were many passengers waiting to board. The loading was done at the park, so union [NURTW] members are aware because they collected commissions. “We encountered over 120 checkpoints before we arrived at Ogrute where I alighted to board an Okada to my place. Our bus however did not follow the major route to Enugu. It was basically local routes, inside Igala land. Each checkpoint we got to, the driver paid some money. Some collected N200, some N500, some N1000, and some even N2000. It is more common in border communities between Kogi and Enugu-Ezike. We met many vigilante groups manning checkpoints. You pay them and they allow you to pass. There was a place that we were turned back totally. Then the villagers guided us through another road to continue our journey. They were also paid. We met policemen and also soldiers.” Clement, who refused to disclose his exact place at Obollo-Afor, however, said a majority of passengers in the bus were mainly youths, comprising Igbo and non-Igbo. According to him, “Some of them are traders whose goods had been transported ahead of them through trailers to Obollo-Afor and beyond. We believe there is Covid-19, but it is like what we have in Nigeria is malaria. Things are becoming difficult; so we must try to survive. The lockdown opened shops for those at checkpoints. Let me tell you again, many night travellers do not encounter many problems like we did. Okada people also benefit because they are stationed at border communities. From Ogrute to Obollo-Afor used to be N100, but I paid N600 to get to my house.” He further said the people of his village never threatened to report him to the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control, and he had been mingling freely with them since his return. Reacting to this development, Chief James Ugwu, a former council chairman of Udenu Local Government Area, called for financial rewards for people who report those that sneak into their villages from outside Enugu State as a measure to curb the spread of the pandemic.

Ugwu told our correspondent in Enugu that, “There should be financial rewards for those who proactively report those that flout restriction orders by sneaking into their communities. Traditional rulers and presidents general should also rise up to this challenge. If we continue like this, I foresee danger because the consequences of community transmission will be adverse. It was when they came back to mete punishment out to Tadeni that they realised that she had escaped. “When Sunday and his accomplices could not find Tadeni, they decided to escape through Patigi in Kwara State to Benue State with the aid of Fatunla’s motorcycle. 9 yr old dies by suicide in benue

A nine-year-old girl has allegedly died by suicide in the early hours of Thursday in Makurdi, Benue State capital. The incident occurred off Bem Hotel Road, Ankpa Quarters area of the capital city. Our correspondent learnt from the area that the young girl was staying with a prophetess of a Pentecostal church alongside her children. The body of the girl was said to have been found in the early hours of the day on the floor of their bathroom with a wrapper tied around her neck suggesting that she might have used the wrapper to carry out the suicide. As of the time, our correspondent visited the premises which also houses a church allegedly being run by the prophetess, she was said to have gone to the police headquarters in connection with the case. A neighbour, who did not want his name mentioned said that the death of the little girl remains a mystery. Efforts to speak with the woman’s children found at home were not successful as they declined to comment. When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Catherine Anene confirmed the report. THE CAPENTER (short story)

A highly skilled carpenter who had grown old was ready to retire. He told his employer-contractor of his plans to leave the house building business and live a more leisurely life with his family. He would miss the paycheck, but he needed to retire. The employer was sorry to see his good worker go and asked if he could build just one more house as a personal favor. The carpenter agreed to this proposal but made sure that this will be his last project. Being in a mood to retire, the carpenter was not paying much attention to building this house. His heart was not in his work. He resorted to poor workmanship and used inferior materials. It was an unfortunate way to end his career. When the job was done, the carpenter called his employer and showed him the house. The employer handed over some papers and the front door key to the carpenter and said 'This is your house, my gift to you.' The carpenter was in a shock! What a shame! If he had only known that he was building his own house, he would have made it better than any other house that he ever built! Our situation can be compared to this carpenter. 15 things African pastors have used for healing

People nowadays flock to church seeking spiritual healing being the only option to turn to when all known medical interventions have failed, many have had to go through a lot of pain, suffering and psychological torture at the hands of pastors who use comical antics in ‘curing’ medical conditions. Salvation Healing Ministries’ Victor Kanyari has been by far the most widely known ‘healer’ whose methods were but a fantasy that worked on a select group of people only. His ‘healings’ were stage-managed, well planned and executed in the presence of the congregation. Let’s have a look at some of the methods used by the ‘spiritual healers’ from Kenya and the rest of the continent as well. 1. Use of Potassium Permanganate This was a method put to use by one of Kenya’s most cunning spiritual leader Victor Kanyari. In a 2014 investigative story run by KTN, Kanyari was exposed using the liquid to wash the feet of members of the congregation to claim that blood was oozing out of their feet. The oozing of blood was what he termed as a ‘sign of healing’. 2. Boiled water In a show of might and power, South African pastor Thamsanqa Sambulo spectacularly poured boiled water on himself and a member of the congregation. Unfortunately, the demonstration turned disastrous as he had to spend the next couple of days on a hospital bed nursing burns from the hot water. 3. The Daniel stunt A Mount Zion General Assembly church leader Alec Ndiwane tried to pull off a Daniel stunt by running towards a pack of lions while on a tour at a park with other church leaders. He would however live to regret the move as he was mauled from behind by the jungle king. He wanted to show how God would save him if he approached a group of lions but the lions’ hunger likely superseded his faith in God. 4. A 40 days’ fast that never was As captured in the Bible, Jesus fasted for 40 days. A south African pastor’ Alfred Ndlovu attempted the feat but ended up going to his maker on the 30th day of the dry fast. He managed a whole 30 days without food but sadly trampled upon death just 10 days to what would have taken him straight to the annals of history and the record books. He holds the record of the longest ever fast in modern times but sadly; he never lived to see the record stand and will never see it broken. 5. Insecticide spray A Limpopo pastor in South Africa, Lethebo Rabalago, used the Doom insecticide to spray into the eyes of his followers in a demonstration of how healing works. The unfortunate congregation had to then deal with itchy eyes for a couple of days even as they awaited the ‘healing’ as promised by the cunning pastor. 6.Woman crushed with speaker Rabalago was again brought under the spotlight when he crushed a member of the congregation with a speaker in August 2017 in a demonstration of how God protects his people. 7. Stepping on pregnant woman’s abdomen Ghanaian church leader of the International Godsway Ministries Bishop Daniel Obinim was videotaped stepping on a pregnant woman’s abdomen to exorcise evil spirits. The video caused a stir and the leader was brought under the spotlight for the incredulous act. 8. Pulling men’s genitals Bishop Obinim was once again caught on camera pulling men’s genitals in a disturbing move to heal them of erection malfunctions during intercourse. 9. Congregation forced to eat snakes South African pastor Penuel Mnguni of End Time Disciples in South Africa created a scene when he forced his followers to eat snakes which, he said, were chocolates for them. 10. Running congregants over Mnguni again hit the headlines when he drove his car on top of a sleeping congregation in what he termed as a show of power. 11. Drinking petrol The infamous Pastor Lesego Daniel of Rabboni Ministries of South Africa asked his congregation to drink petrol which he claimed to have purified and had been turned into pineapple juice. 12.Eating grass Pastor Daniel again hit the headlines with another of his incredulous antics when he instructed his congregation to eat grass. It was a move, he said, that would bring his congregation closer to God. 13. Praying for congregant’s underwear Pastor Paseka Motsoeneng of Incredible Happenings Ministry in South Africa was caught on camera praying for a follower’s underwear for healing. 14. Inserting finger in female members genitals In Nigeria, Way Evangelistic Ministry’s Adekule Kayode came up with very obscene ways of ‘checking virginity’ when he inserted his fingers in a woman’s genitals to check if she was a virgin. He would however regret the act after he was arrested by the Nigerian Police. 15. Selling reflector jackets to congregation Nigerian pastor Lazarus Mouka of the Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries hit the headlines when he sold reflector jackets to his congregation saying they were bullet proof and would also offer divine protection. ***prbxselfnetwork***

In a rare case, a woman in Uganda has been banned from conceiving any more, after giving birth to 44 children. Mariam Nabatanzi has been dubbed ‘the world’s most fertile woman’ by locals after she managed to give birth to four sets of twins, five sets of triplets and five quadruplets. But, doctors in Uganda have banned Nabatanzi from giving birth to any more children, according to Al Jazeera documentary quoted in 7news.com.au. The single mother, who earlier this year was the subject of an Al Jazeera mini-documentary, works a handful of jobs to take care of her 38 living children. Nabatanzi works as a tailor, hairdresser and herbalist to support her family, and has said that, above all, she wants her children to receive an education. Dr. Chales Kiggundu, a gynaecologist interviewed in the documentary, said Nabatanzi’s incredible number of pregnancies were the result of hyperovulation, which is when the body releases more than one egg during the menstrual cycle. The phenomenon increases a woman’s chances of having twins, triplets or quadruplets.  “You find that some of the women have the potential of having between 10 to 12 eggs that come at the beginning of the month,” Kiggundu said. “Some of them have the potential to have more than one fertilisation take place.” Nabatanzi has made attempts to stop having children in the past, including using an IUD after her 18th baby was born, a 2018 BET article reported. As they drove past the old church on the sharp corner next to Wolf River, a drunk from the other lane had hit Kris and Anna head on, throwing Kris and Anna into the shallow river on the side, Anna was above water, but Kris not so lucky was submerged, but he did not drown for the impact killed him before the plunge. Suspended in the vehicle she passes out before the police came. Anna had awoke in the hospital a week later, she had been in a coma from the head injury she had gotten from the wreck. She asks for Kris but they tell her the news. She breaks down and then she becomes angry at the drunk who had ruined her life and taken Kris's. She screams in agony for her lost lover, tears streaming down her face, the pain building in her heart killing her from the inside. She went home weeks later after being medically cleared by her doctor. Torn to see the home that her and Kris had been in for so long, reminding her of all the things she can no longer have. She cries and cries for days on end sleeplessly weeping for her lover, then finally when she lays her head to rest she doesn't wake for two days. When she does wake up from her rest she hurts internally, longing for his warm arms around her, his warm breath on her neck, his soft voice telling her good morning then a soft kiss on the cheek. She goes to the kitchen and starts to prepare breakfast, getting eggs ready to scramble, pulling bacon from the fridge, and cutting a few slices of bread for the toaster. She turns the knife over, flipping in between her fingers, nasty thoughts in her head, hating alcoholics and drunks. She holds a grudge on the man that killed Kris. His foolishness costing the man of her dreams his life but he, the fool, the drunk and the worthless pig got to live. Well not for long, as her thoughts tempted her more and more to go through with it. Come saturday, she will visit the Bar, and she will take her anger out on the drunks, and will bring justice to Kris. 9 o'clock on Saturday night rolls around and Anna prepares her self with the kitchen knife sharp and dressed with old clothes. She keeps a picture of Kris in her pocket as she walks to the Bar in which the drunk goes to get wasted even after the accident. She walks in and scouts, seeing only him and another man at the back of the bar. The man starts making advances to her as she walks towards them, not realizing who she is. She leans on the table, knife in her back pocket and asks the man, "Don't you remember me? Or even my husband?" The man looking confused looks up in shock as he realizes who she is. "Im, Im really sorry please forgive me, I make mistakes. We're all human. Please lets move on with our lives," the man says, pleading for her forgiveness." Can Kris move on with his life? NO HE CAN'T. YOU TOOK THAT AWAY FROM HIM!" Anna snaps back at him with anger. She reaches for the knife in her pocket, wraps her fingers around the handle and with a swift motion she pulls it out and slits his throat, and then takes another swing slamming the knife into the chest of the other man, blood spilling and spraying all over her, covering her hair and face, warm and thick. She walks slowly and sadly out of the bar crying, making her way to the bend of Wolf River. Standing at the edge, looking over the 57 foot drop she cries, blood covered, hurt and crazed, the red and blue lights flash behind her as the cops try to get her to back away from the edge. She takes the picture from her pocket, kisses it, remembering the perfect life her and Kris have had before he was ripped from her. She clenches the picture in her fist, turns to the cops and tells them " This is for Kris, stolen in the peak of love, my baby gone forever, but I will be with him again finally, goodbye". Then she steps backwards falling to her death in the same place Kris had been with her last. If you want to summon the spirit of Annabelle Cora, find Wolf River, and turn of your car. Make sure to have one bottle of any kind of alcohol with you. Poor it into the river and repeat her final words. Then get into your car and wait 10 minutes. When you go to turn your car over it will not start, but when your lights come on, assuming you go past dark, you will see her bloody, and wet standing there crying as she still longs for her lost lover.
