POWERFUL EARTHQUAKE HITS MOROCCO LEAVING OVER 2500 DEAD,SEVERAL INJURED...

  A powerful earthquake has just struck in Morocco leaving at least 2500 dead,several injured

near marakah..

  The temblor stuck late Friday with the epicenter 75km west of marakah,Morocco's fourth largest city.

  A magnitude 6.8 struck leaving thousands dead,several injured

,buildings damaged,sending terrified residents fleeing their homes into the street for safety.The earthquake hit shortly after 11pm local time(22.00Gmt)..

 Search teams have been frantically scouring collapsed buildings for those trapped.Local media reported that most roads leading to a few other regions around

the epicenter were jammed with vehicles and blocked with collapsed rocks,showing rescual efforts....shocked residents in marakah and Casablanca  fled out of buildings and into

the streets..

  The USGS explained that "oblique reverse faulting" in the Atlas mountains was the cause of the earthquake***prbxselfnetwork***
