The deep web, also known as the invisible web or the hidden web is the largest part of the internet and actually makes up most of it, it is said that the deep web makes about 90 percent of the entire internet and can't being accessed using normal browsers or search engines such as Google, Bing e.t.c.
The deep web can be imagined as an iceberg on an ocean surface, the part of the web that is easily accessible and visible to us which is referred to as the surface web is the tip of the iceberg that can clearly be seen on the surface and the deep web is the largest part of the iceberg that is hidden underwater and the Dark web makes up part of the deep at the end of the iceberg .
The deep web contains information like your personal email account, social media accounts, online banking account and corporation's private database, these information are hidden in the deep web to keep just anyone from accessing them, imagine if anyone can just search for your email account and has access to it. A search engine called DuckDuckGo is known to be able to access parts of the deep web. The Dark Web The dark web is a hidden part of the internet and makes up about 0.01% of the deep web but is a lot harder to access and can't be accessed using any type of search engine on earth. The dark web can only be accessed through an encryption software called TOR, .Tor (The Onion Router) is a software designed specifically for the dark web,
it uses masked IP addresses to make the user anonymous to avoid being traced and it is advised to use a VPN while accessing the dark web to keep your location anonymous. The Dangerous Part I am sure you're wondering how or what makes the dark web dangerous. The dark web is known to be very dangerous and people who access this hidden part of the internet are advised to be very careful of what link they click or how deep they go because the dark web is crawling with dangerous hackers who are ready to leak your private information, blackmail you with them, steal or sell them but that's not all they sell. The Dark web is known to be a place where different people go to buy and sell legal or illegal stuff anonymously using bitcoin, people can buy drugs, all kinds of drugs, some that have never even been heard of and it will be delivered to you or dropped off at a given location, credit card details are also available, usually of people who have been hacked and anyone can get access to money in your bank account just like that, there are hired assassins up for hire on the dark web who can be hired to assassinate anyone and get paid using bitcoin but it gets a lot darker than that as there are people up for sale, that's right, people buy and sell people on the dark web, it could be human traffickers trying to make money off their victims. The dark web also provides services to people who want to hire hackers, people who want to buy guns, fake identity cards, passports and pretty much anything is available on the dark web. Mystery boxes are also available on the dark web, a mystery box is a box and as the name implies, completely mysterious, the contents of the box are unknown to the buyer, they usually contain drugs or pieces of weapons and sometimes meaningless, strange or scary objects. YouTubers are known to post unboxing videos which is basically a video made by someone who has bought a mystery box and sharing what they find with the public.
