. My best friend, Alice texted me. "Hey, I'm coming over. I saw something really cool that I want to try with you!" I stared at my phone trying to come up with a reply. "Alright, I'll wait by the door for you then." As I got up, I put my phone in my pocket and started off to the stairs. Me and Alice live really close together. So close, she could walk to my house during a blizzard and be okay. It only took about six minutes to get to my house from hers. *Knock knock knock* "Coming!" I yelled while I started towards the door. I looked out the window to be sure it was Alice, and I opened the door. "We need a pencil and several sheets of paper for this to work." I grabbed a pencil from one of the cups in my art room, which was actually useful, because it was in the living room pretty much. I gave her ten peices of paper and a pencil. "So, explain what this is! I don't wanna wait," I rushed her. "Follow me," She said as she started towards the wall. I didn't bother to leave a reply, as she would probably not answer anyways. "Help me find the ghost! You need to knock on a hollow wall 'til you hear a thud instead of knock." I started knocking on the wall. *Knock* *Knock* *THUD* I gasped. "How?" I thought. "So, you found it. What question do you wanna ask?" I stared at the wall in disbelief, trying to fish a reply out if my empty mind. "Umm... How about.." I managed to push the words out of my mouth. Now for a question. I had to think fast, as I could see she was already growing more Impatient by the second. "Which one will get a boyfriend first?" I stuttered the words out, as we were both single. To add to my confusion, Alice walked to the wall, and held the pencil where the this sound had took place. "Will me or Nolah get a boyfriend first?" As I stepped closer, she dropped the pencil. It landed, and the led bit was pointing at me. "Wow. Maybe it was a coincidence? Try it a few more times. I don't believe it," I told her. She repeated the process two more times, and all of them it landed on me. "Hmph. I guess you're right," I took the pencil off the ground. As I thought of another question, Alice was looking at me. "Maybe.. maybe..hm.." I could see that Alice already had a question. "Let's ask the ghost... Which one will get a peircings first?" She knew I wasn't allowed to get a peircing until I was sixteen. Only one more year. I looked at Alice. "My dad said I have to be eighteen to get my hair dyed, get peircings, and tattoos," I held the pencil to the wall, and, fortunately, it pointed at Alice. "Oooh! I sense a rebel in my presence!" I chuckled as she playfully punched me and told me to knock it off. "Let's ask who will die first," My biggest mistake. Was asking that question. I put the pencil to the wall and laughed, as I thought that it was funny, and it wouldn't be true. As the pencil fell, I blinked in disbelief. "N-no," I said. As I stared at the pencil, I was screaming on the inside. "I-it landed on you.." Alice said. "Hahah. Very funny," I told her. She didn't look like she was joking. So I stopped and said, "Y-your serious??" I grabbed the paper and put an age on each paper. 15-20 on one paper, 20-23 on one paper, and on the last paper, I put 30-100. I held the paper. I was honestly about to shut my pants when my first gets started to slip. *Gulp* I stared at the pencil and closed my eyes. I dropped the pencil. As I didn't wanna open my eyes. My best friend Alice started to cry. I slowly looked at her, lifting my eyelids. She hugged me. That's when I decided to look down at the paper. 15-20. I will die between one year and five. "This can't be happening," "This has to be a joke," I started uttering that it was all going to be okay. Then I decided to find out how I was going to die. On one paper; car crash. Second paper; natural causes. Third paper; murder. Fourth paper; suicide. Fith paper; cancer. I gulped again, as I was anxious. I will do everything to avoid dying. Not in front of my best friend. I dropped the pencil as I hoped it would be nice.. well.. I thought TOTALLY wrong. "M-m-murder," Alice stuttered. "Do you think.." No. I know what she was going to say, and it may be true. It may not be true. But I knew what she was going to say, just so she didn't have to finish. "Your parents would..." "Just.. just... S-.. it's okay. Shhh," I tried to calm her down. She knew what my parents were like and so did I. I got abused, starved, I had to make my own money since I was 11, I got bullied, you name it. It happened. I had anxiety and depression, it was hard but I got through it. "I-... Before I die.." I continued, looking deep into her eyes. "I-I-I-," "Spit it!" She yelled. "I love you!" I stopped, and so did she. "Y-y-," She started, but couldn't finish. "Im speechless," She told me. "I thought this was only a game, now you're going to die," "it's my fault." She was blaming everything on herself, I didn't want her to though. Because it WASNT her fault. "I love you too," she whispered. As I slipped my hand onto hers, I stared into her eyes and got closer. "I'm sorry.." I whispered. I leaned in and held a long passionate kiss... (What a twist huh XD) "I would rather sacrifice myself for you, than make you die with me," I told her. I started to walk outside, when she stopped me. "Where the hell are you going???" She yelled. A tear fell on my cheek as I looked at her, to see her tears splashing on the ground. "I-Im sorry," I told her. "I can't do this," I said. "It was my fault, I should have never asked that ONE dumb question," She stared at me while I was going on and on... "Just stop! That was just a game! What if it's not true!!??" "I DONT CARE IF ITS NOT TRUE!! CANT YOU SEE THAT?? I HAVE A TERRIBLE LIFE! YOUR MY ONLY FRIEND! I GET ABUSED! ALICE! TELL ME YOU DONT CARE ABOUT ME!! PLEASE!!" I yelled at her with an angry expression. She looked at me with her teary red eyes. "Please," I asked. "Please," I said again, standing still. "Tell me you hate me," "I can't," "YES YOU CAN!" "NO! I can't.. I just can't," "I just wanted to tell you that I love you, hello, and goodbye," I told her. As I opened the door, I looked back to see her grabbing my shirt. She wouldn't let go. "Let go! right now!" I yelled. She screamed no, as I stomped on her. I hated to see my best friend, AND my crush being hurt that way. And it's all. My. Fault. The world is ending. I am ending. My life... Is ending. This decade, this year, this month, this day, this hour, this minute, this second. Everything. Is ending. As I walked into the question and grabbed a butcher's knife, I looked at her. "I can't say I'm sorry for everything I've done. Try to live without me." I went into the attic and climbed the ladder to my roof. My house was REALLY tall, so tall you could see the next house from about ten blocks away. Which, isn't that far, but it's still huge. I sat down, pointing the knife at my heart, wanting to watch the sunset just one more time. Just one. More. Time. But I fought back. "No," I thought. "This is happening NOW," I yelled at myself. I never knew that Alice was watching right from behind me. So Is too up, pointed the knife at the back of my head, turned around, and finally... "Im sorry," I told Alice. "I'm sorry it has to be this way," I told her. Apologizing. Apologizing for being alive. Saying sorry for not being there for her when she needed me. Apologizing because I am doing this. Right this decade. Right this year. Right this month. Right this week. Right this day. Right this hour. Right this minute. Right this second. Right now. I pointed the knife at the back of my head, and stepped back. I started to lose ballance. Starting to fall. Starting to cry. As I was crying, I held the knife at the back of my head. And I started falling, falling, falling, falling. Down and down.. Right until.. my life flashed before my eyes. I couldn't believe it. I killed myself. I freed myself. Not just because of the game. Because if everyone and everything. I'm sorry. I'm sorry... -$-$-$-$-$-$-$-$-$-$--$-$-$-$-$-$ SO GUYS I HOPE YOU ENJOYED THIS I THOUGHT REALLY HSRD ON THIS!
