THE SOCK AND THE LITTLE BOY (short story)

Once upon a time there was a little sock. He was going to the lake to go fishing. Just then, a little boy passed by. The little boy held his nose because he thought that the sock smelled. Just then he had an idea. Since the garbage was right next to him, he decided to throw the sock away. Little did the boy know, the sock was real and had real feelings. The little boy apologized to the sock and asked him if they could be friends. The sock was SO happy that he has a new friend, he invited the boy to his house for a play date.
