'SARDINE' FISH REDUCED FROM FOUR TO TWO FISHES

Following from the recent trends of ascribing the challenges in the country to the supposed 'change' in the country, Nigerians have attacked the producers of Titus sardine. Nigerians are skeptical about the gradual decline in the content of the Titus sardine tin. It should be noted that Titus sardine has been in existence for a long time as it is the preferred brand of sardine for most Nigerians. However, the latest development with the production of this proteinous tin of delight has caused people to murmur and croon. File photo of an unopened tin of Titus sardine. Nigerians at some point started patronising other brands that they could afford; they left everything that had to do with quality and opted for quantity in order to be able to meet the needs of the home.  The situation of things in the country has caused people to change their taste. Despite the adjustment made, things seem to be far from good with the various sectors having one issue of the other. In recent times, market women, traders, artisans and the people on the streets have lamented bitterly over the discomfort in the country. Things are now unbearable for them with many starting to break the silence and complain. Nigerians are of the opinion that the federal government has been unresponsive to the plights of the people and this has made many innocent citizens suffer untold hardship. An opened tin of Titus sardine used to be like this in the past. In line with this, one would understand the dismay of many with the reduction of Titus sardines which used to have four fishes. The content reduced to three and now we have two fishes in a tin. This will make you wonder what direction the country is going to. The meme in this piece may be funny but then it preaches a message that is deep. If you are sensitive about the needs of the people, you will understand that the poor and needy cry with this change. ***prbxselfnetwork***
