Unlike the desktop version of Yahoo Messenger, where video and voice call can be done without any add-ons (as long as you have a working webcam and microphone), Yahoo Messenger for Android isn’t equipped on its own to make video and voice calls. However, you can still do voice and video chats by simply downloading an add-on. Steps 1 Download and install Yahoo Messenger from Google Play. After installation, launch the app from your phone’s app screen. 2 Sign in to your account. Enter your Yahoo ID or email address and password to sign in. If you don’t have an account yet, you can get one by tapping the “Sign Up” button. 3 Search for an app named “Yahoo Messenger Plug-in.” Go back to Google Play. This plug-in enables video and voice call for the mobile version of Yahoo Messenger. 4 Download and install Yahoo Messenger Plug-in. You can also download Yahoo Messenger Plug-in from inside Yahoo Messenger. 5 Go back to Yahoo Messenger application. Choose an existing conversation or start a new chat with a contact. 6 Open the chat window option. On the chat window, tap your phone’s menu button to open that chat window’s options. 7 Tap “Video” or “Voice.” The Video (camera icon) is to start a video call, while “Voice” (microphone icon) is to start a voice call. Wait for the other person to accept the call invite. Tap any of the two options and a prompt will notify you that a plug-in is not installed. If you want to download it, tap “Yes.” Otherwise, tap “No.” If you choose “Yes” from the prompt, Google Play will open and you will be taken to the Yahoo Messenger Plug-in’s page on Google Play without searching. 8 Enjoy making video and voice calls with your friends! ***prbxselfnetwork***
