The company introduced its cloud storage by describing it as an enhancement of its Smart Switch feature. The Smart Switch feature allows users to transfer data from their old devices to new devices. The service is also expected to rollout for Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge Plus, and Galaxy Note 5 in the near future. Samsung has not provided many details about its cloud service and is likely to make some big developments in the coming months if its recent acquisition of US cloud services firm Joyent for KRW 185.3 billion ($170 million) is any indication.
