NIGERIA BEAT SWEDEN!!
The Nigeria dream team VI, beat Sweden one-nil in their second group B game of the football event of Rio 2016 olympic games.
After dominating the game and missing lots of chances in the first half, Sadiq Umar's 40th strike was enough to get all the three points against Sweden.
Nigeria are now through to the quarter-finals and will face colombia in Sao Paulo on August 10 for the last group game.
The Under-23 team had beaten Japan in their opening game by 5-4.
While in the basketball event, D’Tigers of Nigeria lost to Argentina 66-94 points in the early hours of today.
