ALLEGED BUDGET PADDING!!

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara has met with President Muhammadu Buhari.   There are strong indications that the speaker's visit to state house Abuja on Friday was to explain his role in the budget padding controversy that has fired the imagination of Nigerians over the past two weeks. This is coming barely a week that the former Chairman Committee on Appropriation, Abdumumin Jibrin petitioned the Acting Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris to investigate the alleged budget padding in the house. The police had set up a panel led by Amodu Ali, an Assistant Commissioner of Police to probe the allegation. The committee had even asked Jibrin to provide more evidence to clear some grey areas of the documents he earlier submitted.
