The Federal Government has submitted five proposals to switzerland on how it will spend $132 million stolen by a former military leader, General Sanni Abacha if returned. Switzerland had demanded for the planned details of spending as a prerequisite to the return of the funds. The proposals are based on social benefit projects to alleviate the suffering of Nigerians. The government is, however, weighing options on another condition bordering on the payment of monitoring fees to the World Bank on five projects. Billions dollars of Abacha loots were recovered in the last few years by succesive Nigerian governments with no detals of how the funds were spent. It was alleged that the former Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala diverted some of the recovered funds to Office of the National Security Adviser to purchase arms. The money, however was allegedly squandered by the former National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki. **PRBXSELFNETWORK**
