SENATOR EKWEREMADU........

Senator Ike Ekweremadu is confident that no one will remove him as Deputy President of the Senate.   Addressing his constituents at Eziagu Local Government Secretariat, Enugu, yesterday, Senator Ekeremadu said, “he is in the senate  by the special grace of God.”   He, however, added that whether those bent on seeing him out of the senate succeed in doing so, the beneficiaries of his scholarship scheme would continue to receive free education. Ikwremadu and the President of the Senate, Dr. Bukola Saraki are standing trials before Abuja High Court over an alleged forgery of the senate standing rules. The duo were alleged to have doctored the rules that brought them in to the senate leadership position. And Ekweremadu being a stalwart of the opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party, described the forgery allegation as plan to remove in from the podition.
